Bruno’s big day out – the Steam Train

This was cool, earlier this month – long wait for the train (the Gisborne City Vintage Railway engine – 100 years old! ┬ásee http://www.gcvr.org.nz/) to finally come alongside and start loading children, but Bruno kept active… very active! Grandpa went along as his minder. .. Afterwards off to daycare where he went straight to the wooden train set, ignoring all the other kids all sitting eating their ‘real’ lunch – there had been plenty of eating on the train too of course! Only tears were for about thirty seconds when grandpa helped him open the top window and it came open suddenly, pinching his sore finger. One nice moment was when a horse was galloping alongside the train for a bit, until the weeds by the track slowed it down.

Just for the grandchildren

Hi grandkids Bruno and Eddie, and those still in the continuum of possibility! We’ll be posting in this site the best photos of you and us and Appletree haven and any adventures we have, and of your mums and dads and homes. It will grow new branches we hope! At present it’s Anna Marco and the two boys Bruno and Eddie…

New posts will go to one of our Facebook timelines so friends and relatives can see them there, and come here to see them all together…
